10:20 p.m and all is peaceful around here ......

A beautiful, Friday night.

I can hear all of the crickets and stuff, outside. The windows are open, and the breeze feels so awesome.

Ok, and... I tried and tried and tried to learn how to use some of the functions on my new phone.... and have not accomplished much. *sigh
I'll try again tomorrow. I guess I'm just not as smart as I thought I was :) (lol).

I think there's even a chance that I might need my heat on in the car! Ut-oh! Can it really be cool out like that? Sometimes I can't tell. I think our office is just extra cool. My legs are bare, and they are chilly!!!!!!!

Anyway, I had a pretty peaceful day. I have to say, this has been the most peaceful day of the week. I hope next week is just the same. I really feel like I've had my booty kicked. :)

I can't believe it was almost a year ago already when Brandon and I went to Hawk Mountain. It was such a cold day. I remember how freezing it was (and it was just October). I had to wear my big, bulky coat - and the hood! And I was still frozen!!!!! I do have to say though - it was nice spending the day with him out there. :) Time passes WAY to quickly.
I feel like we were there only a short time ago........

AND - Halloween is just around the corner. WOW. It's been a year since I've seen Larry, Bonnie, Paul, and the others.... hard to imagine that, too.... **Sigh
I wonder if we'll see them this year. I think we've been getting together every year for Halloween for the past 4 or 5 years. I guess we'll just see what happens. LOL @ Me. One year we arrived at their party, and there was a naked man (A real one) lolololol laying in a pretend casket. SO, Me (the silly girl that I am) took my witch hat off, and placed it over his "private" area..... He opened his eyes, sorta glared at me (eek!) and took the hat off his Penis. Oh...my. He did not have a very good sense of humor. And I still wonder... was he gonnna lay there all night? Weird man.... very strange. SO was his wife. Not a smile outta her. Not once, all night. I think that was about 5 years ago.

So, I have been working on this phone now for 1 hour!
And all I'm trying to figure out is - HOW TO CHOOSE A RINGTONE for my txt msgs! lol
I even have my little book out.
I am looking for a simple icon "Setting" and can't find it.
Silly girl. It was there last night!

Well, I've always enjoyed a brain challenge. Here's one for me!!!!
I think I could solve the Rubik's cube faster than I can figure this phone out.

Hello! And a Happy Friday to you, too!!!!!!!!

I am soooooooooo happy it's Friday!!!! Can you tell????

What a month! I sit here and think about EVERYTHING that has happened over the past month - and can't even believe it!

Things seem to be coming together now, though. I am feeling better. I am not feeling sick ........

The kids are all settled in school, and they seem very happy to be there this year!

I am happy to be here (at work)

and, Fall is setting in. I can feel it - smell it, almost taste it!!! AND I LOVE IT!!!!!!!

So. Last night. (grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr)

We switched cellular service last night. YES! We just left Sprint (after 7 years) and went to Verizon. Well, yesterday we got our first Verizon Bill - $500.00!!!! Oh my. LOL! It was a shock to us, too! Anyway, it was some big error on their behalf - and we just didn't feel comfortable with the whole thing. SO, on day 30 (of our 30 day guarantee) we switched to AT&T . What a mess. This process took all night! UGH!
Anyway, I got the coolest phone ever! (Well, ever for me). :)
It's called a Blackberry Curve. Very fancy! However, it is the most complicated phone I have EVER had!!! lolol!! This morning I received a text message, and I tried to answer it. :P lol. Then, I realized it was a text. Silly me.
This thing will take some time to get used to. I'm sure I'll have lot's of fun learning, though.
Like a good puzzle..... should be fun!



Other than that - all is well.

I am ready for the weekend.

Let's see...
We have a Salsa Dancing Picnic tomorrow :)
And possibly the movies.....
And time with the munchkins :)
and Shopping!

And anything else that might happen - A Mystery!
