So, here we are again!!! Tuesday is here, and I'm ready for the weekend already!!! lol

I'm full of energy this morning. I was dancing all over the car on my way in. It feels good to feel good. I hope it lasts. :) I think we'd all prefer to good, over bad!

I haven't been blogging much lately. I know. And, that is going to change.

I never reported my fun weekend at the beach almost 2 weeks ago! I went to the Casino with my Lovie, and I won $1100.00 -
I never win anything. So, to say the very least... I was thrilled. Silently thrilled. I was surprised at my response. I always thought that if I won anything, I'd be jumping up and down, screaming. Nope. I stood there looking at the machine... thinking to myself... is that what I think it is? lol... And, it happened twice! I won big, two times!!! It was my lucky night, for sure!!!!

I also never posted about lot's of little things along the way. I don't want to lose track.....

I'm feeling really bad about turning 40. I thought it would be no big deal. It's a lot worse in my head than I imagined. I can't believe I'm going to be 40. Where did the time go???
Hubby and I had a conversation about life (as we often do). He made me laugh so hard at something he said. As a matter a fact, it was something that stayed with me. And I've smiled a lot over the past week or so, just thinking about it. He said that I'm the type of person who loves to stop and smell the roses. He's the type who's full throttle - Balls to the walls. He suggested that we compromise. (lol)..... I should stop, and smell the balls. LOL! Yeah.... sounds strange.. especially when you're reading it, and you weren't part of the conversation. BUT, it was very funny at the time!!! Still makes me smile. Because, it's true. He loves to run run run run run.... and run some more. From the moment he wakes up in the morning, until he can no longer keep his eyes open, at night. Me? Oh.... well, a bit of a different story. I love to take my time. I like to sleep in on weekends, when possible... and I love to stop along the way. If I could, I'd be stopping here, stopping there.. taking pictures, pointing things out... yeah.. smelling the roses, the wildflowers.... anything & everything along the way. So, we compromise. We run run run run run... and when we stop for a breath, I look around, and notice the beauty. It's everywhere. And, sometimes I even snap a picture, or two..... :) SOOOO... We don't get any younger. It's important to get out there and enjoy everything we can. Yesterday is gone... and we can't predict the future.......



Oh! Yeah... Soon we'll be headed to Baltimore. I can't wait!!! Our dear friend Paul has invited us to his house for the night, along with some other long lost friends. We're going there to celebrate his Birthday, and his recent engagement! He's such a love. He went through such a terrible divorce. He sure does deserve this happiness with Lori. I am so excited for him. He's so in love. It's so sweet! Anyway, we'll be going out on the town, in Baltimore. A comedy Club, and maybe out dancing. I can't wait. We haven't seen any of these friends in about a year and a half. I really do look forward to it.... We're going in a couple of weeks!!!!!

Friends. I have a couple of friends that are going through some major things in life. I hate it for them. I'm there if they need me.......

What else? Well, we can always talk about the weather. :) It's mild! AND, it's expected to reach 70 tomorrow. Can that be so? Are we almost out of the frigid winter months???? I hope so! Fingers crossed!!!!!

That's about it, for now... I do have so much to blog about. I think I'd even be blogging more if I didn't have that nasty stalker on me! Yeah, you! I'm not going to let you intimidate me. :P This is my blog..... YOU can go away!

Is it Friday Yet?????

I Was So Happy and Excited I Couldn't Sit Still !

Ok.. So, I thought it was Vegas for My Birthday. As a matter a fact, I was sure it was going to be Vegas! I was working on ways to not be so scared of flying. I was trying so hard to imagine a flight with no fear. I want to get over the whole fear. I will... BUT, there's no hurry. It's not Vegas for my Birthday. It's something else. *Big happy sigh.....

Hubby and I are going on a Cruise to Nowhere! On our favorite Ship ever! The NCL is having a weekend Cruise on the "Dawn". She is the most beautiful ship! We're sailing out on April 18th. Ok, so it's not during the weekend of my Birthday. BUT I DON'T CARE!!! I am beside myself with excitement!!!! And, because it falls right between my Birthday and his..it will be a double Birthday celebration!! :) A grown up's ONLY cruise. Nothing but fun! Dinner, Dancing, partying, and celebrating! :)

Can't wait. This is the best Birthday present ever!!!!!!

And then, in August - we will go on the same ship, same suite, and head to Bermuda for a week!!!! As a family. :) :) :) Can't wait!!!!!!!!

It was a nice weekend. And, yesterday was a beautiful day!!! Just gorgeous! It really felt like Spring! :) I can feel it in the air.....

The kids had a fun filled weekend. They are a handful! We had sleep overs here.. sleepovers there. Movies, Mall, different movies.. cheerleading...... and all sorts of fun. :) I love to see them having a great time. I love those kiddies!!!!

And, in between the taxiing around, hubby and I would steal a moment, here and there. We always find time to bond :). It's nice. I feel really really close to him. After 9 years together, we still have that magic. It's so nice. I love love love this man of mine :). And, we enjoyed our weekend together, with the family.

Last night, we had a Superbowl party. :) Well, sort of.... lol
Mom and Dad came over. They love the Superbowl. AND, they love Fred's cooking :) Oh... did I mention that they love our Big screen T.V? I think we were set up (lol). Mom was so cute, though. She kept saying what a great time she was having... And, that was enough for me! :)

So, that was our weekend. Full of LOVE and KISSES and lot's of good, family fun!

It's just been that kind of a week (so far). :)

But, I'm feeling good this morning - Despite the fact that I was up at 3:00 in the morning, searching the house for a "stalker". My poor daughter had a dream that someone was after her. She came to me crying her eyes out.. Had a bad bad dream. Poor thing. I got her settled back in her bed, but then I was wide awake!!!!!!

So, I doubt I could get enough coffee today!!!!

Other than that - everything is okay. Just another week.

Lot's to do here at work. The students are back, and they're in the office all day long!!! It's nice to have them here. Makes the day more eventful!

What else?? I don't know. I have a lot in my head. I just don't have the time or energy the last few days to jot it down. Maybe later!

Went out first thing this morning for a haircut.
Lillian always does a beautiful job.
This is a different cut for me.
SHORT! Well, short for me. Right at the shoulders...

First session with my personal trainer today.
Not bad.
I felt it a lot in my arms, and legs.
I feel a little weak right now.
My body is wondering what the heck just happened!

Hubby is in detox.
He's quitting smoking - cold turkey.
It's like (I've been told) detoxing from heroin.
Tough.
Trying to be the best I can for him right now.

Tough stuff......

Getting ready to go grocery shopping.
I need more fruit. :)
And, other regular stuff :)

The kids are doing their own thing, here at home.
They're happy to have tomorrow off from school.

Me? I have work.
And, the Rider kids will all be back, and classes will begin.

I enjoy blogging.
Sometimes I don't feel like -
But, I'm always glad once I've taken the time to do it.

Life is a roller coaster.

It's gorgeous out there today!!! Hard to believe after the storm we had last night. It took me forever to get home, and now... Beautiful!

The best part about it all.... it's FRIDAY!!!!!!!! I am very happy about that :-)

I have nothing to report. I have been laying low, and not much going on. And, I've been a little tired this week. However, this morning I seem to have extra good energy!!! Must be Friday energy!

Will blog more today. I have extra time on my hands these days - and need a place to express myself!!!

Much better this morning :)

Had a nice Family Dinner out last night. Went to the Olive Garden for the first time in years! It was nice. A tough place to eat when following a low carb eating plan. But, I did it. No carbs no carbs no carbs!! :) That is a huge deal, when eating at any Italian Restaurant!

Hubby and I are going to be starting our new exercise plan. I can't wait!! I'm very excited!!! I'll be posting on my blog about that, also. And, he plans on recording it, on video! So, it should be very interesting! lol :)

So, it's Hump Day!!!! We're 1/2 way through the work week!! Let's hang in there!!!!
