~ A BLAST FROM THE PAST ~

Last night I was browsing on the Internet and found this picture of ME!!!! lol
This was from a fundraiser Hubby and I attended for a friend who was almost burnt to death. She had a seizure while cooking and passed out over the stove. It was horrible. She burnt over 80% of her body. This fund raiser was to help her with the bills, and everything else. It was back in 2004. That was me! It was so funny finding this on the Internet. Just goes to show, you never know what you might find. I have one other... I'll post it once I crop hubby out. He doesn't like the pic of him.

Anyway, that wild woman next to me is Cat. She was actually just featured on the front page of the ABC news site. Let's just say... she lives a very "wild" lifestyle.... She's a wild girl.... (To say the least). lol

Fun. I wonder what other pics might be out there......lol! (j/k)

HAPPY FALL!!!!

GOOD MORNING!!! And, Happy Fall! Autumn is here! Can you believe it??????

So, it's Monday morning ~ Here I am (again) at work. Back to work, back to business!
WHAT A WEEKEND!!!!! whew!

A quick review.....

Friday: Went to the Court Hearing. HATED IT!!! I was so anxiety while I was there, and it took FOREVER!!!! My nerves were shot, and I was as close to passing out as I could get. However, it went well - and everything is now behind us. I'm just glad it's over!!!!!!
Then, as a treat to myself, I went for a haircut. What an amazing job she did.. I just love it!!!!! Best cut I've had in years. Heck, maybe ever!!!!
Off to the shore. Nice time. Very pleasant evening! Lots of laughs, and fun. GOOD time. AWESOME time!

SATURDAY: UGH! What a ride. Got lost in Brooklyn. Lot's of rain... and, a 3 hour trip took us 5 hours. By the time we reached my Grandmother's house, we were totally exhausted from the ride. It was very stressful. Once we arrived, it took a little bit of time to settle down. Then, the visit was nice. My Granny loved her Birthday celebration! She got a LAPTOP w/DSL from my Aunt and Uncle, Lot's of Chico gift cards, a printer... etc.. She was thrilled. How many 86 year old do you know that are so up with the times? Seriously... she amazes me! She is so precious. I just love this woman. :) Anyway, the visit was nice. It was great to see everyone again so soon. It was a short, but sweet visit.

SUNDAY: Had breakfast at our Hotel, and hopped on the highway! Made it home in less than 3 hours. WOOOOHOOO!! What a nice change from the trip there. We had a smooth ride, and it was both sunny, and warm! AND, the first day of FALL! Did a few stops along the way, and took care of some regular stuff.... Grabbed the kids, and relaxed for the rest of the day/evening.

Today..... I am beat. Run run Run run RUN! CRASH! zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Keeping track. Someday, I will look back at all of this and say "WOW" What a cool existence I had....

:)

And, today is a new day. I'm going to sit back, and see what's in store for me... and enjoy it.

Happy Monday.

Good Morning! And Happy Thursday!

:) One more beautiful day! Don't you just love this weather?

SO, here we are. It's Thursday! I think this week flew! Wow. And, it was a breeze! So far. :)

This weekend should be fabulous! Well, I hope it will be! Time to go to Long Island! But, before that - a quick stop at the New Jersey Shore! So, Friday (Shore) Saturday, Long Island! Woooohoooo!
This Sunday is my Granny's 86th Birthday. I can't believe it. It seems like yesterday when I cooked her a "surprise" breakfast, and decorated the kitchen with Balloons, and party hats. Yep. Just the two of us. It was so sweet. It was 1986, and she was turning 65. We were staying with her temporarily, while our house in PA was being built. I was 18. I got up early, cooked this awesome breakfast, set the kitchen table, decorated... and when she came in, she just burst into tears. :) Happy tears! It was so sweet. I will never forget that day.

And now, she will be 86. SO, a lot of the family will be traveling to the Island to see her. It should be really nice. She is sooooo excited. I have to admit, I am too. Besides seeing her, I do enjoy passing through Stony Brook Village. Where I grew. It's bittersweet. I can imagine myself as a little girl, at the bus stop... sitting on the steps - waiting. I can picture that same little girl, walking to town. To the beach. Yet, while I'm there - I almost feel like that was a completely different life. It sometimes feels like I'm thinking about someone else, that I used to know. Very tough to put in to words. Sometimes I pass by the schools I attended. I try to remember what life was like, back then. Sometimes I want to remember everything. I just can't. Too much time has passed, I guess.
IN any event, I DO look forward to going back. Reflecting.... and enjoying the company of my family. I hope it's a nice time. I really do look forward to it.

Oh, I better get busy!!! It seems I've gotten lost in my thoughts.

I hope this is a great day for you. YES, you.

Sweet. Today is going to be a good one.

Tomorrow morning, I have to be in Court. NOT such a nice morning. The accident, going over the whole thing AGAIN, having to sit in front of a bunch of people, facing the crazy guy who did it.... what a mess. I hope that it's easy, and not as stressful as I imagine it will be. I DON'T look forward to it. Last time, I was shaking so bad. I get so full of anxiety. I better drink juice before we go. I should eat something, so I don't pass out. I hope all goes well. AND, I hope it's QUICK.
Once it's over - I have a fantastic weekend ahead of me!

Be back soon!

Oh, how's this picture? Better????? *Big smile

Happy Wednesday!!!

Happy???? C'mon! Are ya Happy?? Let me see a smile! Give me a little smile....

:) (Has this girl gone nuts?) No!!!!!!! I'm just trying to fill some space, with goodness! Happiness!

So, if you're happy - Let the world know. Put that beautiful smile on that beautiful face of yours.

AND, if you're NOT Happy. Try to think about something that would make you feel good. And take a moment to enjoy it...... whatever "it" may be.

Anyhow.....

Last night. Well, let me tell ya - last night was just peachy. Great.. normal... life as unusual, until about 9:45 p.m.

I got home from work, made dinner for the the kids (and me)..... went to the gym, with the kids... Walked the complex, with the kids (lol).. got home, stretched out on the couch, played on the laptop for a little bit...
Watched some t.v.....hubby came home, and then - 9:45 p.m. : telephone call.

Our friend Zoran was having a crisis, and needed us. So, off we went. It's not easy. Not for everyone. Life is tough for so many people... on so many levels. For him, it's emotional. Which (in my opinion) is one of the worst ways to suffer....

So, he was basically suicidal. He wanted us to take him to the hospital. We sat and talked to him for awhile, and came to the conclusion that the hospital wasn't the answer. He's gone that route before, and they don't do anything there to help him. SO, we packed him up, and had him come home with us. He got to our house and told us how happy he felt inside to be there. Wow. It was really sweet. I could see the difference right away. His desperate look changed, and he seemed so relaxed. He really needed some support, and to know that someone cared.

SO, if you ever wonder what to do when you know someone is obviously in need, be there for them. Heck, it's not always convenient, or the best timing..... it might even be annoying, or frustrating, at first.... But, you never know when YOU might just be saving a life. And, the impact you can make, just being a friend - could make a world of difference. Think about it. I feel that way, so much. People can preach about how they want to help others, or talk about how much they care. But, actions always speak louder than words ever could.

Happy Tuesday!

Happy Happy Day!!!!!!!!!

:) :) :)

Today is going to be BEAUTIFUL! Inside & out!

Last night. I spent time with the kids, doing homework & stuff. Wow. There I sat, between these 2 big, growing, beautiful human beings. What's happening to my "little munchkins"? It happens in the blink of an eye. They are so sweet, and precious.
Anyway, it's funny.... how life moves right along. Seems like yesterday I was chasing around these little people. Now, they're both almost teenagers. AND, I am the luckiest woman on earth! I still have them clinging to me. How many kids that age walk with their Arms hooked in their Moms? Or, holding their hands? I don't even push that issue. I would never want to "embarrass" them. They actually run for me. And hug on to me.... Lucky me. Perhaps it comes from me? Because I am SOOOO affectionate?? I'd love to think so. :) Who knows! In any case... My night consisted of Shopping with them at "Old Navy" - and doing Homework. Then, I crashed! I was more tired than I realized.......

What else??? Oh, Mom told me that she and Dad are going on a River Cruise in RUSSIA. Next May. Oh my. Scary! I wish I had it in me to be able to do stuff like that. I don't - not yet, anyway. I'm a simple girl. All these trips to different countries make me uncomfortable. I'm most afraid of the flying part. Heck, I dream of flying to Vegas. However, I haven't gotten the guts up to do that!!!!

Oh... I better get busy!!!!

More blogging later.!

Good Morning - and Happy Day to you.

IN ONE WORD...

JUST for fun.

If you had to describe yourself in ONE word....

What would that word be??????

Something to think about.
Just for fun.

And - would that description of "you" be what others might also use as their word for describing YOU?

I'm asking for no particular reason. Just for a moment of fun - away from the regular work stuff.... Plus, I feel like it's good to think about things once in awhile. :)

Me?? My word to describe me:

PASSIONATE

Because, I am. On so many levels.

That's all. :) :)

Think about yours..... I'd love to hear what you come up with
:)

Happy Monday!

I can't believe how beautiful it is out there!!!! I feel so refreshed, so alive! This weather makes me feel so good.
I'm wearing a sweater today! A warm, cozy sweater!!! I'm lovin' it!

:) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :)

Big smiles, and happy wishes to you on this fine Monday.

All is good. I'm hoping that you had a beautiful weekend. It was so nice out. Although most of my day was spent inside, it was a great day. A great weekend. Just hanging around the house is so awesome sometimes.

Today is going to be good. Why? Oh, nothing special - I've just decided it was going to be good. :)

I look forward to blogging today. :) I hope I have some extra time to do so!

Happy day to you.

Happy Sunday!

Today, I am! :)

I like to play Domestic Goddess. I do laundry, clean, go grocery shopping, and so on. And then, at the end of the day - I feel so good about getting it all done. We run so often on the weekends, that when we do stick close to home, I enjoy taking care of business. :)

We even have the carpet guys here, cleaning the carpets. Extra good stuff!!! Silly me..... I enjoy some of the most simple things in life....

Yesterday was nice. We went to the "La Luna" Salsa Dancing picnic. It was really chilly, but it was nice. I enjoyed visiting with Robin, and Scott made me laugh a lot. Oh, and the Owner of La Luna (woohoooo) SEXY!!!!! I am pretty excited.... (lol) - I am thrilled about taking lessons with her. MAYBE I can give her a few lessons of my own! lololol!! Seriously, she was HOT. She had a bubble Butt, like me - and the happiest smile. You know, friendly and happy faces are so attractive. She was such a sweetheart :). I do look forward to going.... AND, I even bought some SEXY Salsa dancing shoes last night! Can't wait!!!!! Thanks to Robin and Scott for inviting us. It was a beautiful day for a Picnic. And, nice eye candy!

So, that's about it for now. Going to get moving. Have lots to do!!!!

Hope you're having a great Sunday, too!!!

UPDATE on the phone (lol). I'M doing better. I DID get my cingular blackberry email address set up! Can't wait to use it!!!! I am not obsessing over this phone - I just feel like sharing because it's a lot more complex than I expected. And, each time I figure something out, I feel good about it. LOL. I think I'm going to hang out by the AT&T store in the Mall and See if I can pay someone to help me. LMAO@Myself! Not really..... I will have this thing figured out sometime! I have 2 years, so let's see how long it takes me!!!!!!!!

10:20 p.m and all is peaceful around here ......

A beautiful, Friday night.

I can hear all of the crickets and stuff, outside. The windows are open, and the breeze feels so awesome.

Ok, and... I tried and tried and tried to learn how to use some of the functions on my new phone.... and have not accomplished much. *sigh
I'll try again tomorrow. I guess I'm just not as smart as I thought I was :) (lol).

Hope you have a beautiful weekend. Life is too short not to! Get up and dance (or something like that) :) :) :)

Enjoy it all. Life. This is not a dress rehearsal!
SO, I have less than one hour to go!!! Wooohooo~ I am ready for the weekend.
:)

I think there's even a chance that I might need my heat on in the car! Ut-oh! Can it really be cool out like that? Sometimes I can't tell. I think our office is just extra cool. My legs are bare, and they are chilly!!!!!!!
Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Anyway, I had a pretty peaceful day. I have to say, this has been the most peaceful day of the week. I hope next week is just the same. I really feel like I've had my booty kicked. :)

I can't believe it was almost a year ago already when Brandon and I went to Hawk Mountain. It was such a cold day. I remember how freezing it was (and it was just October). I had to wear my big, bulky coat - and the hood! And I was still frozen!!!!! I do have to say though - it was nice spending the day with him out there. :) Time passes WAY to quickly.
I feel like we were there only a short time ago........

AND - Halloween is just around the corner. WOW. It's been a year since I've seen Larry, Bonnie, Paul, and the others.... hard to imagine that, too.... **Sigh
I wonder if we'll see them this year. I think we've been getting together every year for Halloween for the past 4 or 5 years. I guess we'll just see what happens. LOL @ Me. One year we arrived at their party, and there was a naked man (A real one) lolololol laying in a pretend casket. SO, Me (the silly girl that I am) took my witch hat off, and placed it over his "private" area..... He opened his eyes, sorta glared at me (eek!) and took the hat off his Penis. Oh...my. He did not have a very good sense of humor. And I still wonder... was he gonnna lay there all night? Weird man.... very strange. SO was his wife. Not a smile outta her. Not once, all night. I think that was about 5 years ago.

:)

Oh well... "Memories" lol

What do you think?

Is this an example of
Distorted Self Image?
Or just a really lousy painting...
:)

Laughing at myself!

So, I have been working on this phone now for 1 hour!
And all I'm trying to figure out is - HOW TO CHOOSE A RINGTONE for my txt msgs! lol
I even have my little book out.
I am looking for a simple icon "Setting" and can't find it.
Silly girl. It was there last night!

Well, I've always enjoyed a brain challenge. Here's one for me!!!!
I think I could solve the Rubik's cube faster than I can figure this phone out.
:P

LOL!

TGIF!

Hello! And a Happy Friday to you, too!!!!!!!!

I am soooooooooo happy it's Friday!!!! Can you tell????

What a month! I sit here and think about EVERYTHING that has happened over the past month - and can't even believe it!

Things seem to be coming together now, though. I am feeling better. I am not feeling sick ........

The kids are all settled in school, and they seem very happy to be there this year!

I am happy to be here (at work)

and, Fall is setting in. I can feel it - smell it, almost taste it!!! AND I LOVE IT!!!!!!!

:) :) :) :) :) :) :)

So. Last night. (grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr)

We switched cellular service last night. YES! We just left Sprint (after 7 years) and went to Verizon. Well, yesterday we got our first Verizon Bill - $500.00!!!! Oh my. LOL! It was a shock to us, too! Anyway, it was some big error on their behalf - and we just didn't feel comfortable with the whole thing. SO, on day 30 (of our 30 day guarantee) we switched to AT&T . What a mess. This process took all night! UGH!
Anyway, I got the coolest phone ever! (Well, ever for me). :)
It's called a Blackberry Curve. Very fancy! However, it is the most complicated phone I have EVER had!!! lolol!! This morning I received a text message, and I tried to answer it. :P lol. Then, I realized it was a text. Silly me.
This thing will take some time to get used to. I'm sure I'll have lot's of fun learning, though.
Like a good puzzle..... should be fun!

Other than that - all is well.

I am ready for the weekend.

Let's see...
We have a Salsa Dancing Picnic tomorrow :)
And possibly the movies.....
And time with the munchkins :)
and Shopping!

And anything else that might happen - A Mystery!

:)

Happy Friday. I hope you're doing well, and feeling warm and happy, inside your heart.

My New Favorite

This is such a beautiful song. So, I thought I would share it with you. The words... A perfect example about how I feel about the one's I love. I couldn't have said it better.

So, here's some happiness & love to share - take the time to read it if you can, it's well worth it.

~MY WISH~
Rascal Flatts

I hope the days come easy and the moments pass slow,
and each road leads you where you want to go,
and if you're faced with a choice, and you have to choose,
I hope you choose the one that means the most to you.
and if one door opens to another door closed,
I hope you keep on walkin' 'til you find the window,
if it's cold outside,
show the world the warmth of your smile,
but more than anything, more than anything,

My wish, for you, is that this life becomes all that you want it to,
your dreams stay big, your worries stay small,
You never need to carry more than you can hold,
and while you're out there getting where you're getting to,
I hope you know somebody loves you, and wants the same things too,
Yeah, this, is my wish.

I hope you never look back, but ya never forget,
all the ones who love you, in the place you left,
I hope you always forgive, and you never regret,
and you help somebody every chance you get,
Oh, you find God's grace, in every mistake,
and always give more then you take.

But more than anything, Yeah, and more than anything,

My wish, for you, is that this life becomes all that you want it to,
your dreams stay big, and your worries stay small,
You never need to carry more than you can hold,
and while you're out there getting where you're getting to,
I hope you know somebody loves you, and wants the same things too,
Yeah, this, is my wish.

My wish, for you, is that this life becomes all that you want it to,
your dreams stay big, your worries stay small,
You never need to carry more than you can hold,
and while you're out there getting where you're getting to,
I hope you know somebody loves you, and wants the same things too,
Yeah, this, is my wish.
this is my wish
i hope you know somebody loves you
may all your dreams stay big

I walked the kids to school. Brooke was in Kindergarten, Brandon was in 1st grade. It was a beautiful day. The walk was so refreshing. I can picture it still.

I arrived home. When I put the T.V on (simply out of habit) I saw the news, and the first tower. I had no idea what was going on. I called my hubby. He was in the office, with the t.v on. Nobody really knew what was happening. I remember thinking it was just a terrible accident. I called my Grandmother in New York. She too, had no idea what was happening. She and I stayed on the phone, during the Pentagon attack, Shanksville, and the second tower. It was then, we realized it was a planned attack. :(
All I wanted to do was rush back to the school, pick the kids up, and keep them safe from harm. I wanted my husband to come home, and I wanted to be with everyone, in the safety of our home.
It was so sad. I can't believe it was six years ago. Sometimes it feels like forever... and sometimes it feels like yesterday.

In any event - today I sat and took some time to pray for the families that lost their loved ones. I thought about the sadness that so many people must be feeling today. I am sorry for their loss. I can't imagine how they must feel.

This morning, I visited the Garden of Reflection
It's a place that was created by the residents of Bucks County (where I live). Our community lost 18 people. This place is where friends and families of the victims can go, to find a little peace, and perhaps pray, or reflect on the special people lost... in the 9/11 tragedy. I used to pass it, frequently. When I did, I would think about the people, and I would say a little prayer for them. That's all you can really do......

Today is a gloomy day. There's finally rain, which we definitely could use. And there are sad people across the nation. However, we are blessed to be here. And I want to mention that I am grateful to be alive. Life is so fragile. It's short, and sometimes bittersweet.
Maybe this would be a good opportunity to list a few of the things I am grateful for, since I have been given the gift, of living - today.

I am grateful for my husband. He is my best friend. He loves me, and cares for me. and although at times, we have our differences, we have each other, to love, laugh together, and care for. We have a bond that is so strong. We've come a long way... and although we may not always see eye to eye - there is so much love, and affection - that we can overcome any obstacle.

I am grateful that the kids are both happy, and healthy. That I can see them growing into these amazing human beings. I am grateful that they are so well behaved, and so loving.

I am grateful that I have a good job :) - and am able to contribute to the family, financially. I am hoping that I serve as a good role model to my daughter, and that she will grow up to be a beautiful woman, with self confidence, and be able to be, or do - anything she sets her mind to.

These are just some of the things I am grateful for - and felt like today would be a good day to mention some of these things.

May you have a beautiful day, and feel as special - as you are. :)

On my blogging..........
:)

The weekend.
It was really nice.

Being sick stinks (and I wasn't well all weekend) but I managed to enjoy myself & the time away.
The weather was nice. A bit hot - but the wind from the ocean was awesome. It cools things off quite a bit.

And coming home, it's always nice. The kids are always ready when we pick them up from their Dad's. They don't mind going (most of the time), but they really look forward to coming home. It's really sweet. Last night we all just hung out and took it easy. Hubby and Brandon spent 3 hours attempting to make sushi. It was so cute. The sushi rice came out great, although it was a little sticky (lol). I love rice that way... but it made for difficult sushi rolling. Did you know there's a whole different kind of rice that is used for sushi?!?! It's very cool! Hubby and I had gone to our favorite Chinese Grocery store at the shore. We went wild there, shopping. We bought the sesame candy that the kids love. We like it, too. And we got all sorts of sushi making stuff. It was fun. I love that store. It's so interesting. I don't know what 90% of the stuff is, in there. BUT, I love looking at it, and trying to figure things out. :)

It's pretty quiet here this morning. I guess the students are still sleeping. I've worked with a few... they are a pleasure to deal with. The freshmen this year are so adorable. You always know a freshman when you see one. And most of the time, they are lost - and need some help. :) So, I do the very best I can to help them.
Many of the people that work here forget..... they need help. So many people don't take the time to point them in the right direction, listen to them... I do. Heck, I listen to everyone (lol)

Anyway, I am feeling better this morning. Not 100%, but better.

Hope to have a great week. Hope you do, too.

~ Happy Monday ~

Well, today I'm back at work. Feeling ok......

I'm ready for this new week ahead of me.
This morning I woke up early, so I could get everyone out the door on time. :) And, I made it here nice and early.

As soon as I get organized, I will post. Give me about 1 hour! :)

Hope all is well in your world. :)
Glad to be back!

My Absence.

For those who know me......
You know why I have been "absent".

But now, I am back.
I'm here to post, again...
I really feel the need and the desire to keep track of my life. My feelings, etc... my experiences, in life.
I've missed so much these past few weeks ~

Oh, and thank you for the emails of "concern" - for those of you who love me & have noticed that my little place on the Internet has not been active.

It really made me feel like my blogging made a difference. :)

SO, fasten your seat belts, and lets ride! Moving forward with life, sharing.. and smiling, laughing, learning, loving... and everything else. :)

Hope this message finds you with a smile.
I hope that everyone who stumbles across this blog is enjoying life.

See ya tomorrow....
Have a peaceful night.
Stay safe ~

Always put yourself in others' shoes.
If you feel that it hurts you,
it probably hurts the person too.

I love that quote :)

Here we are, again!!! :) Good morning you sleepy heads! Time to wake up, smell the coffee & face the day!!!
Here in Pennsylvania, it is absolutely gorgeous! What a perfect day!

I'm at my desk, with a big ole smile on my face. I'm just thinking about things, and I feel good. And, refreshed.

Last night, hubby and I went out on a date. It was so sweet.. So nice.
And, when we got home, something weird happened. I was just sitting on the couch, and my heart was beating very fast. I couldn't have been more relaxed. I sat still, and took it easy, but it wasn't slowing down. I have never had blood pressure problems or anything... So, after a few minutes, I thought it might be a good idea to go lay down. So, off to bed I went. I think I may have been just completely exhausted or something. I remember laying down, and the next thing I know - I'm out like a light. Normally, I can't sleep without my sweetie in bed with me. But last night, I fell right out. Boom. This morning I feel perfectly normal. I guess it was just a freak thing. Who knows!

Paperwork is piling up on my desk. I think I need to take care of it. It's not going away on it's own!!!!

Be back for more. Later!

Happy Thursday!!

OK!

Now, here's something to blog about.

At about 11:55 a.m. I received a text message. It was my hubby... He tells me that he is completely miserable. :(

SO. I am worried to pieces.. I text him back.... WHATS WRONG, I ask him....

He then responds with these exact words, "I made a nice picnic lunch for me and a little cutie and she's not here yet."

So, I ask him, "Where are you?"

He responds, "In the gazebo"......

awwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!!!! Right outside my building, there's a beautiful gazebo that sits beside the lake. So, I grab my purse and run out there..

All smiles, there he sits. And beside him is this beautiful basket full of goodies. Flowers, chocolate, sparkling juice with little wine glasses, sliced ham & cheese.. fancy sesame crackers.. pretty napkins, sliced watermelon. The works. IT WAS BEAUTIFUL! I couldn't stop hugging him. :) :) :) :) :) :) And then he made me little crackers with spicey little mustard and the ham & cheese... one by one. And, we really had a nice visit. Lot's of little kisses and smiles in between.....

See, hubby and I have been together for 8 1/2 years. We've had our ups, we have our downs. BUT, no matter what, he has always been the most romantic, and sweet/good hearted man I have ever met. It was the nicest lunch date I've had in years (and the last one was with him, too).

After lunch, we took a walk. It was so peaceful. So romantic. <3

Then, he kissed me - and went on his way. <3

Thank you, sweetie. I love you.

What a nice surprise.

Life is good. And on my not so good days, I am going to refer to this blog post.. as a reminder as to how good it really is.

:)

Hope you are having an equally beautiful day.

I have to say. I LOVE to laugh.
When I go home from work, at the end of the day - I love sharing my stories about my day. BUT, more than anything else, I love to tell my hubby and my kids about what made me laugh. :)

Laughter..... it feels so good.

When I die - I want people to remember me and say, Boy, that girl made me laugh! :)

Anyway, what made me think to post this? Just the fact that I sometimes sit and think about my week, and what moments made me smile, or laugh....

I know.. I am silly. It's cool. I enjoy being me. And, I love a good laugh.

:) :) :) :) :) :) :) :)

Here's a site, sure to make you smile - maybe even laugh a little :)

Happy Hump Day!!!!!

And here we have - one more beautiful day!

I'm stretching to grab a hold of the weekend. I look forward to it.

We have a Bar mitzvah to go to. Justin's. He's like our very own kiddo. Although, he is one of the most strange and unusual kids I've ever known, as well as his parents (lol... and I do adore Robin). The apple seriously doesn't fall far from that tree... lolol... Anyway, his big day is this Saturday. I'm looking forward to it, and I know the kids are too. I'm the only one in our family that has been to one of these celebrations. I grew up on Long Island! Our community had a lot of Jewish families. It was cool. I got to experience their faith, and learn a bit about it. Very different from what I am used to. :) But, as always - I embrace every opportunity to learn something new from it.

Last night. Oh my. lol! We went Back to School shopping. School supplies! UGH! I cannot believe what they expect the parents to buy. What ever happened to pens, pencils, and a 3 ring binder??? Oh, and some loose leaf paper. Nope... not any more. Now, you can't even understand what some of the stuff on the list is! :P I'm not kidding! And, when all is said and done - we walked out of Staples $68.00 later!!!! This does not even include the Book bags (backpacks) and some other big stuff. Hmmmmmmmmmmmm ok. Now, what does one do if they have a "few" kids, and no money??? How do they manage? It's crazy! *Sigh ....... It's not easy for everyone. I am so completely blessed & fortunate in my life.

What else? Well... I don't know. I've been pretty busy at work, and pretty busy at home. With the kids getting ready to start school next week and all.. it's been a very exciting week at home. And, this week we've had some extra kids - so it's been a bit crazy. Plus, we've had a few nights with an unexpected guest. So, it's been busy. He's a nice guy, having a tough time, needing a peaceful place, and someone to talk to. Of course Fred is a love about it, and takes care of him the best he can. That hubby of mine is so sweet. He spends a lot of time helping others. It's in his nature. Nothing forced about it, whatsoever. One of the things I love most about him. :)

A quote for the day

As I grow to understand life less and less,
I learn to love it more and more.
"Jules Renard"

And a very Happy Tuesday to you!!!!!!!

Hugs and Hugs and Hugs to all of the people that I hold special in my life!

This is a beautiful day :) I hope you have a wonderful day, full of love and sunshine.

:)

*Big smile.

THANK YOU FOR THE PICTURE MAIL :)

Beautiful, just beautiful.
Super Sexy!

Made my day - and I know this....
It will make for a delicious night.

:)

I am a very lucky woman. You see.... life may not always be fluffy clouds, and happy smiling faces. But this much I know is true - I am loved. And, I am cherished. And it makes the little things in life that bug me, less important.
Life is good. Even when I bitch about the crappy stuff..... It's all good. :)

Meet my new Ride

Wooohoooo!!! I am still so excited! I got my 2008 Mazda Cx7! I've wanted this car since it came out. And, it's just beautiful!
Black, turbo! Bose Stereo system, moon roof!! SO adorable! Here's a picture. And, the pictures don't even look as cool as the car.

Adios Mustang. I enjoyed it -but it was not that safe to drive. Hubby was always worried about me. Now, he will worry less. :)

Oh, Happy Monday!!!! :) What a beautiful day!!!

Will post more in a little bit.

I hope everyone enjoyed the weekend.
